The 18 hole, par 72 course is split into two halves. It features lakes, challenging fairways and 66 bunkers strategically placed throughout the course.

Alborán Golf has undoubtedly become the new reference for golf in the south of Spain. The course is located in front of the Cabo de Gata natural park, beside the beach, 5 minutes away from an international airport and only a short drive from Almeria City and the tourist resort of Roquetas de Mar

Golf course details

The course is a par 18-hole championship course that complies with all requirements necessary to host the highest level of competition. It is a Par 72, including 4 Par-5 holes, 4 Par-3 holes and 10 Par-4 holes. White Tee - 6278 mts, Yellow Tee - 5956 mts, Blue Tee 5652 mts, Red Tee 5371 mts.

The course was designed by Ramon Espinosa who successfully created an important balance between the holes with regards to length, orientation and the location of the bunkers, streams and lakes. With 66 bunkers placed strategically around the holes the course offers a challenging and enjoyable game of golf.

A nice feature of the course is the location of the 1st, 9th, 10th and 18th holes which are close by the clubhouse and the car park making this an ideal course for a quick 9 holes.

Alborán Golf has an extensive practice area measuring 150 meters wide and 300 meters long with two tees, two putting-greens, a chipping-green with a practice bunker, dressing rooms, a car park, a bar, a rental service for clubs, golf carts, and electric cars, as well as a golf shop.
