General information: Los Atalyones is located in Almeria Spain. This spendid complex was completed in December 2005 and contains two and three bedroom apartments with large terraces and beautiful sea views. The complex is an excellent vacation spot consisting of three large pools, three smaller children's pools, lovely gardens, a tennis court and private car parking. During the summer a life guard is employed to supervise pool safety. The complex is safe and secure, with access to the apartments being restricted to residents only. Internal lifts and stairways are installed within the apartment blocks to allow easy access to each apartment floor.

Location: Los Atalayones is located in the centre of Mojacar Playa in a quiet location only 400 metres from the seafront and Cueva del Lobo beach. It has easy access to what is one of the liveliest places on the Playa where a good selection of restaurants, music bars and a seafront disco can be found. An English Pharmacy and beachside First Aid centre are a 10 minute walk. The area has a good variety of shops where you can rent DVDs and play station games or browse the trinket shops. A good supermarket, which stocks just about everything, is a four minute walk from Los Atalayones ensuring those wishing to self-cater or simply stay close to Los Atalayones during the vacation, have everything close at hand.

Bus service: If you prefer not to drive there are a couple of bus stops only a short distance from Los Atalayones Complex. The nearest bus stop is about a 5 minutes walk and located near to the Cueva del Lobo Beach. Allow an extra two minutes to walk to the second stop, outside the Hotel Indaloa. Buses arrive at regular intervals and will take you along the 7 kilometres sea front to other beaches or a little further to local towns such as Vera, Garrucha, Mojacar Pueblo and Carboneras.

Golf: Los Atalayones is a great location to spend a golfing holiday. The area is booming with new or refurbished golf courses; the nearest is Marina golf which is a seafront course and only 10 minutes drive away. Other courses within the Mojacar area are Desert Springs, Valle de Este Golf Resort and Cortijo Grande. Spend the day on the golf course and then enjoy a meal or drink in one of the area's restaurants or bars.

SCUBA: There are at least two diving schools in Mojacar; the nearest school to Los Atalayones is only 300 metres from the complex.
