Jarapas: handcrafted rugs produced in the Spanish region of Andalusia Spain
The Jarapa floor rugs featured below, are handcrafted in Andalusia Spain from recycled cotton and cotton chenille. The rugs are individually crafted from brightly coloured materials that will bring warmth and colour into your home. Jarapas are soft and durable and because they are machine washable will continue to maintain their good looks for many years. The double sided Jarapa rugs are reversible. Jarapas have been handcrafted on hand looms in the mountain villages of Andalusia Spain since the Moors introduced them in the 1400 - 1500 centuries.
