Apartment:- The duplex apartment is air conditioned and furnished with high quality fixtures and fittings. It comprises a lounge/dining area (with ceiling fan), kitchen with utility area, 1 double and 2 twin bedrooms and 2 bath/shower rooms with bidet
The spacious kitchen is fully fitted with a modern oven and ceramic hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, clothes dryer, iron and ironing board.
The first floor double bedroom is spacious with large fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets/lights and provides access through patio doors to a large sun terrace with table and chairs.
One twin bedroom and the shower room is on the ground floor.
The second twin bedroom is on the first floor. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets/lights.
Al Andalus Thalassa, a brand new residential complex at Vera Playa on the Costa de Almeria, between the whitewashed hillside town of Mojacar and the popular village and caves of Almanzora. Vera, a large, traditional Spanish town is a stones throw away, Mojacar is a 10 minute drive and the attractive fishing villages of Garrucha and Villaricos are only 5 minutes away. All have popular local markets while Garrucha is known especially for its wholesale fish market and the quality of its seafood restaurants. The houses and apartments of Al Andalus Thalassa are traditionally Andalucian in design, have views to the sea and are set among palm tree lined interior gardens with water features. It is an enclosed residential complex with CCTV and controlled access making it safe for young children. Private parking is available in a designated area outside the property
Places to visit and golf courses
Golf enthusiasts have several golf courses in the area. These include Cortijo Grande
(9 hole 18 tee) which is the oldest course in the area to the new 18 hole golf courses of Desert Springs, Valle del Este, Marina de la
Torre and Playa Macenas,
Mini Hollywood park and zoo, where the spaghetti
westerns were made, is at Tabernas. There are caves to visit at Sorbas, the natural park with flamingos at
Cabo de Gata, and the Alhambra at Granada is only a couple of hours drive.
The beach resorts of Mojacar and Garrucha are great tourist resorts with golden beaches, lots of tapas bars, restaurants and beach bars. The ancient Moorish hilltop village of Mojacar Pueblo (seen in the distance) is a must, with its cobbled streets and alleyways, great gift shops, music venues, cultural centre, bars and restaurants. There are other white villages to visit, including Bedar and Nijar. There is a marina/fishing port at Garrucha with seafood restaurants. At Vera there is the oldest bullring in Spain, a naturist beach and Saturday weekly market.
